Construction of the 110kV Power Transmission Line Khorog - Kozideh

Construction of the 110kV Power Transmission Line Khorog - Kozideh

Project "Design, Supply, and Construction of the 110 kV Double-Circuit Transmission Line Khorog - Kozidekh."

The length of the new line is 63 kilometers. Along this route, 234 steel towers were installed, capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions and the unpredictable challenges of mountainous terrain. The first circuit of the line, with a 110 kV clearance, operates at 35 kV, while the second circuit operates at 110 kV, significantly increasing the reliability and capacity of the power supply in the region.

For the towers located near rivers, complex engineering work was carried out to alter the river's course and protect against erosion. In addition, aviation markers were installed along the line, making it visible to air traffic, and communication is ensured by fiber-optic cable laid within the ground wire.
