History

Tajik installation department "Gidroelektromontaj" (TID GEM) was founded in Dushanbe in 1959

In 60s, TMU GEM was entrusted with electrical installation works at Yavanskaya TPP. TGEM specialists carried out the Transformers installation at 220 kV switchyard, as well as the main generator hall power unit installation works.

In 1972, a workshop for metal working and fabrication was launched.

From 1972 to 1979, all electrical works were completed and the turbogenerator units of Nurek HPP were commissioned. The electrical part installation was carried out by TMU GEM specialists within short.

In the early 1980s, the high-voltage equipment insilicon-converting substations was installed, and the Aluminum Plant pot rooms were commissioned by TMU GEM.

In 1986, TID GEM started works at the Rogun HPP.

2006 – The company won its first global tender: Reconstruction of the Perepadnaya HPP
2009 – First in recent history, company performed the construction works of 220/110/10 kV Buston substation
2010 – The company established a plant for the production of concrete, reinforced concrete poles and concrete products for the energy industry in Dushanbe
2010 – The company launched the concrete mixing plant at the Rogun HPP
2011 – The company started first quarrying works at Rogun HPP
2011 – The company established the rock-crashing plant at Rogun HPP
2012 – The company first won global tender outside the country in IR Afghanistan
2014 – In cooperation with a partner, the company participated in the rehabilitation of 500/220 kV Nurek HPP switchgear
2015 – First time in curren thistory company installed the 500/220 kV cables
2016 – The company implemented the supervisory control and SCADA data collection equipment installation project
2016 – The company was awarded with the Vakhsh River damming contract under the Rogun HPP construction project
2017 – The company received the Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity ISO 9001:2008
2017 – The company completed the Rogun HPP dam embankment works to the level of 1050 m
2017 – The company first time installed the 500/220 kV GIS
2017 – The company completed the reinforcement and concreting works of the Rogun HPP construction tunnels ST1, ST 2
2017 – The company implemented the ACEMS (Automated commercial electricity metering system) project in Khujand
2018 – For the first time in current history, the company carried out the installation of generator voltage conductors
2018 – For the first time in history of its own, company performed the tunneling work
2018 – On November 16, the ceremoni energizing of the Rogun HPP 6th unit took place with the participation of our company’s specialists
2019 – The company received the Quality Management System Certificate of Conformity OHSAS 18001:2015 and ISO14001:2015
2019 – First time in its own history the company implemented the road construction project
2019 – The company signed the contract for the "Rehabilitation of the Kairakkum HPP" project
2019 – The company signed the contract for the construction of a 500 kV TL as part of CASA-1000 project
2019 – On September 9, company specialists participated at the ceremonial energizing of Rogun HPP 5th unit
2020 – The company launched the construction of electrical equipment manufacturing plant
2020 – The company signed the contract for the construction of a converter substation as part of CASA-1000 project
2020 – The company won the tender for the "Rehabilitation of the Nurek HPP" project
2020 – The company won the tender for the “Water Resources Management in the Pyanj River Basin” project
2021 – The company signed the contract for the design, supply and installation of electrical equipment underthe “Reconnection to the Central Asia Power System” project.
2021 – The company won the tender for the construction of right-bank facilities (Lot 3) as part of the Rogun HPP construction project
