Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) 500/220 kV
The installation of the GIS 500/220 kV equipment was carried out under the supervision of Siemens chief engineers.
A total of 19 gas-insulated units of 500 kV and 4 units of 220 kV were installed. Electricity from this facility will be supplied to the country's unified power system via six 500 kV overhead transmission lines. Similarly, electricity from here will be transmitted to the electrical substation in the city of Rogun.
