Photovoltaic Power Plant in GBAO

The 3 MW solar power plant is located at an altitude of 2,600 metres above sea level and covers an area of 4 hectares. The facility includes 4,752 bifacial photovoltaic panels, 10 string inverters, a 0.8/35 kV compact transformer substation with an integrated step-up substation, and a 500 kWh energy storage system.

The construction of the facility involved significant volumes of earthworks, concrete works and installation works: 2,084 m³ of concrete foundations were constructed, approximately 260 tonnes of steel structures were installed, and 19,000 m³ of earthworks were completed.

The plant is equipped with a remote monitoring and control system, allowing the equipment to be monitored without the need for the permanent presence of operating personnel.
