Construction of the 110kV Power Transmission Line Khorog - Kozideh

The company is proud to announce the completion of an ambitious and extremely important project for the mountainous region, "Design, Supply, and Construction of the Double-Circuit 110kV Power Transmission Line Khorog - Kozideh." This project posed a real challenge both for engineering innovation and the strength of the human spirit.

The length of the new line stretches for 63 kilometers, extending from the city of Khorog through the Shugnan district to the remote village of Kozideh in the Ishkashim district. Along this route, 234 steel poles were installed, capable of withstanding the harshest weather conditions and the unpredictable challenges of the mountainous terrain. The first circuit of the 110kV line operates at 35kV, while the second operates at 110kV, significantly enhancing the reliability and capacity of the region’s power supply.

Special attention was given to the safety and protection of the infrastructure. In hazardous areas where avalanches and rockfalls posed risks, special protective structures were built. Complex engineering work was carried out for the poles located near rivers, including changing the river's course and preventing erosion. Additionally, aviation markers were installed along the line to make it visible to air transport, and communication is ensured by fiber-optic cables laid in the lightning protection wire.

Despite challenging weather conditions and difficult mountainous terrain, the project was successfully completed. Its implementation opens a new era for the residents of remote mountainous regions, providing them with stable and reliable power supply. The replacement of old lines and transformer substations with new ones, as well as the installation of new spurs, will ensure a reliable supply of electricity to homes and institutions, significantly improving the quality of life in the region.

The completion of the "110kV Power Transmission Line Khorog - Kozideh" project is an important step towards the development and modernization of Pamir’s infrastructure.
