Construction of the National Theatre of Tajikistan

Construction of the National Theatre of Tajikistan

On May 15, 2025, the construction site of the National Theatre of Tajikistan, located in the heart of Dushanbe, was visited by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali.

TGEM, serving as the general contractor for the project, is executing the construction of this landmark facility with great responsibility. The theatre is situated in the cultural center of the capital—next to the National Museum and the State Flag Park.

According to the approved design, the building will feature two underground and five above-ground floors, with a total height of 34.5 meters. Inside, it will house three modern halls: a main hall with 2,500 seats and two multifunctional halls with 1,000 seats each—for conferences and concerts. All areas will be equipped according to the latest engineering standards, including auxiliary spaces and world-class technical solutions.

TGEM ensures strict adherence to deadlines, top-quality construction and finishing works, and the use of advanced technologies in the design and implementation of the project. The construction of the National Theatre is more than just an engineering endeavor—it is a contribution to the cultural heritage and future of the country.
