Inspection of the construction progress of the National Theatre building

On April 3, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, and the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe, Honourable Rustam Emomali, inspected the progress of construction and preparation of the important cultural facility — the National Theatre.

During the visit, heads of the relevant ministries and agencies, as well as responsible specialists, informed the Head of State, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, that the main construction works have been completed to date, while interior finishing works, preparation of the building, and installation of machinery and equipment in the theatre halls are still ongoing.

It was noted that the construction and equipping of the National Theatre building, which is one of the main anniversary facilities dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan, is being carried out using the best construction and finishing materials, as well as modern machinery and equipment.

During the visit, President Emomali Rahmon gave instructions and recommendations to the managers, responsible specialists, and skilled Tajik craftsmen to ensure the high-quality completion of the works within the established deadlines.
