6th Annual International Congress “Hydropower Central Asia and Caspian 2022”

The 6th International Congress and Exhibition "Hydropower Central Asia andCaspian 2022" held in Dushanbe between May 25 to 27, gathered together morethan 150 executives of leading renewable energy enterprises, investors andtechnology leaders from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia,Germany, France, Poland, Belgium, and other countries.

TGEM, acted as a silver funder of the high-ranking event, was representedby 6 delegates under the leadership of the General Director Mr. Iqbol Safarov.

Dushanbe power engineer’s forum gave an opportunity todiscuss the sector most important issues, exchange experience and coordinateplans for the effective implementation of a wide range HPP construction andmodernization projects in the region.

Tajikistan representatives, as a host country, organized two days ofbusiness communication for the guests, as well as technical visits to the Rogunand Nurek HPPs, where specialists reviewed the results of the substationoperation and the established sustainable national energy system of thecountry.

During the Congress, key projects in the field of construction andmodernization of hydropower plants in the countries of Central Asia and theCaspian Sea, fund raising in hydropower, innovative technologies in theconstruction and operation of hydraulic structures, the advantage of developingsmall hydropower and the potential for using small hydropower plants werediscussed.

The 6th Annual International Congress and Exhibition"Hydropower Central Asia and the Caspian" is a professional forum forthe conversation interaction between government and business representatives witha focus on the effective implementation of a number hydroelectric power plants constructionand reconstruction/modernization projects in the region. Over 200 members wereunited at this forum.
